Stanley Medical College (SMC) is a government medical college in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1838. SMC is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University.

It offers many courses like MBBS at the undergraduate level and MD, MS, PG Diploma at the postgraduate level. It also provides super-specialty courses like DM and MCh Flagship program is MBBS course.

Stanley Medical College has more than 250 faculty members. It has been allocated 250 MBBS seats. Campus includes Government Stanley Hospital.

The college provides many facilities like separate hostels for boys and girls a library and departmental laboratories. It also has a medical/hospital facility for students and staff.

Admissions are based on performance in National Level Entrance Examinations. The college accepts scores from NEET UG for MBBS, NEET PG for MD/MS/PG Diploma and NEET SS for super-speciality courses.
