Scholarships

Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class/Minority communities who have passed the PUC or equivalent examination and are pursuing any course at SGITO.
Expenses covered: Tuition fee, maintenance allowance, book allowance, etc.
Eligibility:
- Annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs for SC/ST students, Rs. 1 lakh for OBC students and Rs. 2 lakhs for minority students.
- Not availing any other scholarship or stipend.
- At least 75% attendance in each semester.

Fee Concession Scheme:

Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Category-I communities who have passed the PUC or equivalent examination and are pursuing any course at SGITO.
Expenses covered: Tuition fee, laboratory fee, library fee, etc.
Eligibility:
- Annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
- Not availing any other scholarship or stipend.
- At least 75% attendance in each semester.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students belonging to minority communities who have passed the PUC or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and are pursuing any course at SGITO.
Expenses covered: Rs. 25,000 per annum for professional courses and Rs. 10,000 per annum for technical courses.
Eligibility:
- Annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
- Not availing any other scholarship or stipend.
- At least 75% attendance in each semester.
