Fee Structure Of NSSCE, Palakkad-Nss College Of Engineering

Established in 1960, the college is affiliated to the Kerala Technological University. The courses offered here are AICTE approved. The college offers both graduate and post graduate programs.

B. Tech courses are offered in:-

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Electronics and communication Engineering
• Instrumentation and control Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering

Admission to the B. Tech courses is based on the class XII marks and candidates also need to pass the All Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination.

M. Tech courses are offered in:-

• Communication Engineering
• Power Electronics
• Computer Science and Engineering
• Computer integrated manufacturing
• Structural Engineering

Admission to M. Tech requires at least 55% marks in the B. Tech qualifying examination and pass marks in the GATE. GATE can date eligible to receive a monthly scholarship of Rs.8000 from the government of India.

A placement cell has helped students to get jobs in- Infosys, Wipro, , TCS and Larsen and Toubro among others.

Hostel and Facilities

The Institute has 4 hostel buildings. The rooms of the hostels are provided with basic furniture and are comfortable. Out of 4 hostel buildings, one building is for women and the rest are for men.

In boy’s hostels the accommodations are available for 483 students and in girl’s hostel, it is for 172 students. The rooms of the hostels are airy and large. It has all basic facilities in it.

Students have to take care of the furniture in their room as well unless they will be charged fine. Each hostel has one television room, water purifier, mess, and indoor games facility, and security. Each hostel celebrates main festivals with joy and enthusiasm.

There are some cells and activity clubs are also available for the students. Some of them are Wild life and forestry club, National Service Scheme, Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Women Development Cell, and more.
