Nss College Of Engineering (NSSCE) Palakkad

NSS College of Engineering is located in Palakkad. It was established in 1960 by Nair Service Society. This government-aided institute is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. College offers B.Tech degrees in six branches and M.Tech degrees. Six B.Tech programs are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering.

College has approximately 600 students per batch. It employs 100+ faculty members. The campus covers 125 acres and provides many facilities. These include laboratories, a library, a computer center, internet access, hostels, a canteen, seminar halls and transportation. The college also supports extracurricular activities through different clubs and cells.

Admissions require KEAM entrance exam for B.Tech and GATE exam for MTech The college's B.Tech programs are accredited by National Board of Accreditation. It is approved by AICTE.

In terms of rankings, college is rated 4th in Kerala according to EDU RAND. The college collaborates with institutes internationally, including IIT Palakkad.

The placement record is strong. 2017-2021 batch secured over 400 placements and 35+ internships across 80+ firms. Major recruiters include TCS, Infosys and HCL technologies.
