Fee Structure Of TJIT, Bangalore-T John Institute Of Technology

The founding father of the institution was Shri T. John and it was established in 1993 by his son Dr. Thomas P John. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and all admission rules and other guidelines that the institution follows are laid down by the university.

Sprawling over an area of 20 acres, the institution aims at providing scientific, technical knowledge-based learning to students to prepare them for a career of professionalism, diversity and success through competitive environments providing equipped infrastructure and resourceful faculty members.

It has six academic departments including the following:

• Computer Science and Engineering
• Information Science and Engineering
• Electronics Communication and Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Basic Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry)

The courses offered by institution are recognised by AICTE and are under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and the eligibility criteria are decided by VTU for admission to the institution.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

T John Institute of Technology is spread over a 25 acres campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Students have choice of sharing a room with 2/3/4 people. Rooms are furnished with attached bathroom.

Each hostel has a canteen serving both North Indian and South Indian food. The students have access to 24 hours internet connectivity. Outsiders are strictly forbidden within campus and there is 24 hours security available.

The hostels have laundry facility and parking facility. Moreover there is a water purifier and 1 day power back up.

Other Facilities

There are other facilities provided by the institute like- gymnasium, cafeteria, library services, auditorium, fully equipped laboratories, computer labs with 24 hours internet access, medical dispensary and well maintained playground.

The college provides bus transport services. There is provision of on campus stationary shops and Xerox shops.

Campus Life

Students have a vibrant campus with inter college sports tournaments and non-academic fests like- Tarang, Blaze and ECHELONS being conducted annually. Moreover departmental forums like ARISE are also popular for conducting events.
