Scholarships

Vidyasiri Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.
Expenses Covered: Tuition fee, hostel fee and food expenses.
Eligibility:
- Annual income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs for SC/ST students and Rs. 1 lakh for OBC students.
- Passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 50% marks.
- Secured admission in any government or private aided college in Karnataka through CET or COMEDK.
- Not availing any other scholarship or stipend from any other source.

TEQIP Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students pursuing postgraduate programs in engineering and technology.
Expenses Covered: Rs. 12,400 per month for M.Tech students and Rs. 31,000 per month for Ph.D students.
Eligibility:
- Secured admission in any TEQIP funded institution through GATE or PGCET.
- Valid GATE score or PGCET rank.
- Good academic record and research potential.

Other Scholarships:

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Given to meritorious and economically backward students. Amount varies based on course and category.
Minority Scholarship: For minority students (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis). Amount: Rs. 25,000 per annum (UG) and Rs. 30,000 per annum (PG).
Defence Scholarship: For children of defense personnel who died or were disabled in action. Amount: Rs. 50,000 per annum (UG) and Rs. 60,000 per annum (PG).
