KMCH College of Nursing (KMCHCN), Coimbatore established in 1993 as the first educational institution of Kovai Medical Center Research & Educational Trust. The college is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and recognized by The Tamil Nadu State Nursing and Midwives Council and Indian Nursing Council (INC). The KMCH College of Nursing has been recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu and approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. The college is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.

Admission Requirements :-

The prescribed application form can be obtained from the College Administrative Office by paying Rs.300/- in person or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust, payable at Coimbatore. Filled in Application forms shall be submitted with the following documents:

For the Under Graduate Courses

• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied (Original and 3 copies)
• Conduct Certificate from the Institution last studied (Original and 3 copies)
• HSC / Pre-degree / AISSCE / ISCE / Intermediate / Diploma mark statement(s) (Original and 3 copies)
• Diploma / Pass Certificate (Original and 3 copies)
• Migration Certificate for the students who have passed the qualifying examination other than Tamil Nadu (Original and 3 copies)
• Community Certificate (Original and 3 copies)
• Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai (For students who have passed their Qualifying examination other than HSC Course Tamil Nadu)
• Copies of passport and VISA for NRI / Foreign Nationals
• Passport size Photograph – 5 copies

For the Post Graduate Courses

• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied (Original and 3 copies)
• Conduct Certificate from the Institution last studied (Original and 3 copies)
• UG Mark Statements of all the years (Original and 3 copies)
• UG Provisional / Degree Certificate (Original and 3 copies)
• Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai
• Migration Certificate obtained from the University issuing UG Degree (for students who have passed their UG course other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai (Original and 3 copies)
• Council Registration Certificate(s) obtained from the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (Original and 3 copies)
• Experience Certificate for the period of minimum one year from the date of first registration with State Nursing Council (Original and 3 copies)
• Community Certificate (Other than OC / FC candidates) (Original and 3 copies)
• Copies of passport and VISA for NRI / Foreign Nationals
• Passport size Photograph – 5 copies

Eligibility Certificate

All the candidates seeking admission to UG / PG should submit the Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai (The candidates passed HSC from Tamil Nadu are exempted).

Equivalence Certificate

Candidates who had undergone courses offered by Universities / boards outside India and seek admission in this University should produce the Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Based on this, the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai shall consider to issue an Eligibility Certificate.
