The KIIT College of Engineering is a private college run by an educational society called Vidyapati Sansthan which was established in the year 1969. The college is relatively new compared to the chain of colleges run by it. It is located at Sohna Road, Gurgaon.

The KIIT college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (MDU) and approved by the AICTE. The mission of the college is to support the holistic development of students.

The college campus is huge spreading in a sprawling landmass with all the required amenities such as hostel, transportation, cafeteria etc. The Aravali Hills can be sighted from the campus. It is one of the nearest colleges when compared to colleges near the National Capital Territory. The KIIT has its personal bus stop too.

The admission process follows different criteria but the main admission process is through entrance exams – JEE, CAT, MAT and GATE.

The college laboratories are very efficient in providing skill training to the students. The infrastructural facilities are top notch and the college was awarded for the same by ECONS.The Centre for Education Growth and Research has bestowed the college with the Best Engineering College for Placement – 2015 award and it has grabbed many more for education and academic excellence.

Hostel facilties

The college has a widespread campus accomodating separate hostels for boys and girls. There are around 130 to 150 seats for both girls and boys in the respective hostels. The admission is these hostels take place on the first come first serve basis. There are wardens for the direct supervision of the hostels. The hostels are secured with 24 hours guard at the gate. The students are provided seats as per the availability in Single/Double/Four seated or dormitory rooms. The nutritious food cooked under highly hygienic conditions is provided to the students. There are spacious, airy and bright rooms, round-the-clock security and an atmosphere which is very peaceful. Gyms are also avaialble in the hostels for both boys and girls.

Other facilites

There are various other basic amentiies made avaialble to the students except the hostel faciltieis. There are well furnished classrooms, seminar halls, transport faciltiies, meidcal facilities, infrastructure, cafeteria, canteens and other facilities available for the customers.
