Scholarships at WGSHA Manipal

1. Scholar and Achiever Scholarship:

• Applicable to: All other undergraduate and postgraduate programs (except for BTech, BPharm, BSc Nursing, ME, UG/PG Medical/Dental, Super Specialty).
• Eligibility: Students who have secured above 90% marks in the qualifying examination or have a valid rank in the entrance test conducted by MAHE.
• Scholarship Amount: 25% of the first-year tuition fee .

1. Board Toppers Scholarship:

• Applicable to: All undergraduate programs.
• Eligibility: Students who have secured the first rank in their respective boards in the qualifying examination.
• Scholarship Amount: 100% of the first-year tuition fee.

1. Scholarships for Academy of General Education Students (SAGES):

• Applicable to: Students who have passed their qualifying examination from any of the institutions under Academy of General Education (AGE), Manipal.
• Scholarship Amount: 10% of the first-year tuition fee.

1. Academy of General Education (AGE) Scholarship:

• Applicable to: AGE students who have secured above 80% marks in the qualifying examination from any of the institutions under AGE, Manipal.
• Scholarship Amount: 25% of the first-year tuition fee.

1. Merit Scholarship for Konkani Speaking Students:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Konkani speaking community who have secured above 80% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Scholarship Amount: 10% of the first-year tuition fee.

1. Merit Scholarship for Children of MAHE Manipal Alumni:

• Applicable to: Students who are children of MAHE Manipal alumni and have secured above 80% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Scholarship Amount: 10% of the first-year tuition fee.

1. Scholarship Scheme of Interest Subsidy on Education Loan for MAHE Students:

• Applicable to: Students who have availed an education loan from a bank for pursuing their studies at MAHE Manipal.
• Benefit: Interest subsidy provided by MAHE Manipal for the entire duration of the program.

1. ITC Scholarship for Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM):

• Applicable to: Students enrolled in BHM program at WGSHA Manipal who have secured above 75% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Scholarship Amount: Rs. 1 lakh per annum (renewable annually based on academic performance).
