Welcomgroup Graduate School Of Hotel Administration Udupi

The Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA) is located in Manipal. It is part of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) established in 1986. WGSHA focuses on education in hospitality industry. 

Institute offers different programs, including BSc/B.Sc (Hons.) in Culinary Science, Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), BA/BA (Hons.) in Hospitality and Services Management, Master of Hotel Management (MHM), MA in Indian Cuisine & Food Culture and M.Sc in Dietetics and Applied Nutrition.

WGSHA is a private institute managed by MAHE. It operates autonomously. The school provides hostel facilities for both genders with air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned options. 

Admission to UG and PG courses is determined by merit through different assessments. WGSHA holds accreditations from the World Association of Chefs Societies and the Indian Federation of Culinary Associations. It is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

WGSHA has been ranked 26th in world among hospitality schools by CEOWORLD Magazine in 2020 and 1st by GHRDC in 2022. The institute collaborates with international institutes in Canada, Indonesia, Italy, Sri Lanka and France.
