Cmr Institute Of Technology (CMRIT) Bangalore

The CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) is a private institute in Bangalore. It began operations in 2000 and is located in the Whitefield area of Bangalore. CMRIT focuses on providing education in engineering and management.

CMRIT is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by Government of Karnataka. 

The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Undergraduate degrees include B.E in many fields like Computer Science and Electronics Engineering. Postgraduate offerings include MCA and MBA.

In recent rankings, CMRIT was placed 116th among 281 colleges in India in 2023. In same year it ranked 85th for B.Tech programs out of 246 colleges.

Placement cell at CMRIT facilitates job opportunities. In 2022 714 placement offers were made by 150 companies. The highest salary package was INR 26.50 LPA while average was INR 6.35 LPA.
