Dr. Umayal Ramanathan College for Women (URWC), Sivagangai was established in 2006 as an integral part of the Alagappa Group of Institutions. The College is affiliated to Alagappa University, a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Association of Common wealth Universities (ACU).
