JSS Academy of Technical Education was founded in the year 1998 and is located in Noida. The College has around 4000 students pursuing education under the guidance of more than 250 experienced faculties.
The Institution offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA programs across a wide range of streams.
The Engineering and technology departments of the College are:

Admissions for all the above mentioned courses are offered through the counseling system conducted by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. For applying for the Admission process, students have to write the UPSEE – entrance examination.
The Campus consists of modern classrooms, indoor and outdoor gaming facilities, medical center and an advanced library.
The Institution has also established associations with IBM, Nokia and several other companies and has also tied up with the Colorado Heights University, Denver, USA for Students Exchange Program.
Application and Admission Procedure
Located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh JSS Academy of Technical Education is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. The institute offers various courses on under graduate and post graduate level. The admissions to all the courses are strictly made on the basis of the ranks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination.
For admission into the under graduate course namely B.Tech, the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised board with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of chemistry, biology and biotechnology. Also, the candidate must appear in the state level entrance examination UPSEE and have a valid score in the same.
For admission into the M.tech course, the student must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 50% marks along with a valid score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
For admission into post graduate courses in management and computer applications, the student must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks along with a valid score in state level entrance exam UPSEE. The final admission, however, will be made on the basis of group discussion and personal interview.
Hostel and Facilities
JSSATEN provides a friendly environment to their students helping them to cope up the life outside their home. The hostel of this academy is located inside the beautiful and lush green campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The rooms are spacious, clean, airy and well maintained. The rooms are allocated to the students on multi sharing basis.
The hostel rooms are well furnished and equipped with beds, wardrobes, study tables and chairs. Water purifiers and water coolers are installed to provide cool water to the hostlers. Power backup facility is available. There is a provision made for AC equipped rooms to meet specific requirements of the students.
For the physical and mental well being of students there are different recreational activities available for them. Different Sports facilities like outdoor sports area, indoor courts and sports equipments are also provided to the students.
There is a common room where all the recreational activities are done like watching television etc, there is visitor’s room available for meeting the guardians of the student.
Both the hostels can accommodate limited students and the allotment is done on the basis of First Come First Serve. The total number of seats available in the hostel is 700 for girls and 700 for boys.
The hostel facility is available for the undergraduate students only. The estimated cost of boarding and lodging for non-ac rooms is ₹ 85,500 per year and for ac rooms it is Rs 1,25,2500 only.
Besides the facilities of hostels there are many other facilities available for the students like a primary healthcare centre is active 24/7 inside the campus, there is a stationary shop where all the necessary products are available, a corporation bank ATM, an air conditioned fitness centre and a canteen holding a capacity of 500 at a time.
All these facilities collectively makes life at JSSATEN very comfortable.

To pursue MBA at JSSATE students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
