Mount Zion College of Engineering (MZC), Pathanamthitta was established in 2001. The college has been active on academic as well as non-academic front since its inception. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The institute is managed by charitable Educational and Welfare Society. The college has carved a niche for itself in diverse domains such as Engineering Technology, Business Management and Aviation Industry etc.

The vision of the institute is molding socially conscious technocrats and the mission of the institute is enabling the young generation to meet the challenges of the futuristic society by equipping them with the technological skills, sustainable values and everlasting ethos. To provide better practical training, all departments have well equipped labs. Moreover, Mount Zion R&D Lab, an associated research facility of the college allows the students to do the projects at campus itself.
