For admission in MBA students are judged on the basis of SNAP score, group exercise, personal interaction, and writing ability test.

For admission into MBA (Executive) candidates need to give an entrance test comprising of Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning questions along with personal interaction.

For PGD programmes in management students are judged on the basis of personal interview.

HOW TO APPLY?

For admission in Symbiosis Institute of business management, Bangalore the candidates can apply online as well as offline. The candidates are eligible for admission if they graduate with minimum 50% marks and qualify Symbiosis National aptitude test (SNAP). No candidate is allowed to seek admission to the MBA programs of SIBM Bangalore without a valid SNAP score. The candidates can apply online as well as offline with the required information.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

For applying the candidates have to first register themselves for the form and upload the latest coloured passport size photo and fill the information given. The candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 1750. The payment can be done online or through demand draft which is to be submitted from any nationalized bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The admission procedure consists of the shortlisted candidates being called for group exercise and personal interaction / written ability test (GEPI-WAT). The candidates have to book their slots for the test.

After the test, the final merit list is declared by SIBM Bangalore which is based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in SNAP and GEPI-WAT process.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

Symbiosis Institute of Business management is located in Bangalore. The college has two separate hostels for male and female students equipped with all the latest facilities. The college offers a 2 year residential MBA programme.

The hostel is quite special and has the capacity for 450 students to reside. Rooms are available on twin sharing and triple sharing basis. LAN connectivity is available in all hostel rooms The hostel has a canteen, in addition to the mess, with 24*7 supplies of quality eatables as per the requirements of the students.

Other Facilities

The college has a Wi-Fi enabled campus with well-equipped classrooms. The library has all the books required by the students for the course. The laboratories are well-maintained by the staff. There are multiple conference rooms and seminar halls for holding expert talks, seminars and counselling sessions for the students.

The college has an air-conditioned auditorium too. For students interested in sports, the college has an ultramodern gymnasium, basketball court, and underground badminton and squash courts.
