About SITM, Noida
Established in 2010 under the aegis of Good Enough Education Trust (GEET), the Sarvottam Institute of Technology and Management is situated in the Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. SITM offers a graduation course in Bachelor of Technology (B.TECH) in five branches and a full time course in Master of Business Administration (MBA).
About the MBA Program
The 2 year full time MBA Program at SITM is divided into 4 semesters and includes a compulsory summer training of 8 weeks in between the second and third semester. A comprehensive Viva-voce is an integral part of the curriculum. The course comprises of 20 core management subjects, 8 subjects based on the specializations opted, a summer training project, a dissertation and a small course in Human Values and Professional Ethics as well. SITM offers dual specialization to the students in any 2 of the following 6 options:
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
- International Business
- Rural Development

Students having completed their graduation with at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) aggregate may apply for the program.

The form is to be accompanied by the following documents:
- Two self-attested photocopies 10th standard mark sheet, pass certificate, character certificate, migration/transfer certificate.
- Two self-attested copies of residence proof.
- Two self-attested copies of caste certificate (if applicable)
- Original UPSEE ID-Rank Card (with two copies)
- Six colored passport size photographs

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be granted on the basis UPSEE Counseling. The rest 15% seats come under the management quota, admission to which is in the hands of the college. Admission shall be granted to these seats on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the college.
The total fees for pursuing the MBA Program at SITM is Rs.1,66,450.
The placement and training of students at SITM is handled by The Corporate Resource Cell. It acts as an interface between the corporates the students. It also frequently invites celebrated corporate leaders to share their insights with the students.
The campus is visited a number of corporate giants for recruitment. The list includes Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Samsung, LG, TATA, Accenture, Honda, Oracle, LIC, Lloyd, MTS, Uninor, TVS, Air India, Kotak Mahindra, Dashfox Service Private Limited and so on.
For the 2013-14 batch, the highest package was offered by TVS, which was Rs.4.8 lakhs per annum while the average package secured by the batch was approximately Rs.3.7 lakhs per annum.
Spread over an area of 10 acres, the SITM campus is located at a 10 minute drive from the Noida City Center Metro Station. The campus houses a modern cafeteria for the use of students. The library is extensively stocked with over 10,000 volumes and subscription to over 100 journals and magazines. The institute gives due importance to physical activities and has ample facilities to support a number of indoor and outdoor games as well as a gymnasium.
Separate Hostel Facilities for boys and girls are available with 24 hour power back up, security surveillance system, Wi-Fi facility, gymnasium and facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
- The institute awards scholarships both on the basis of merit and need. In order to apply for the scholarship, the student is required to fill in the required application form at the time of admission itself. The institute has granted an aggregate amount of Rs.50 lakhs as scholarship to date.
- SITM has also offers free education for 5 students, who happen to be the son/daughter of those military/Para-military who sacrificed their lives while on duty.
Life at College
Bolt is the annual inter departmental sports tournament of SITM with the students competing in various individual and team sports.

To pursue MBA at Sarvottam Institute Of Technology & Management students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
