Global Academy of Technology is situated in Rajrajeshwar Nagar in the city Bangalore. The college is located about 10 kilometres away from the main city.
The college was founded in the 2001, and due to its excellent performance,the college has been ranked among the 10 top colleges in Bangalore. It is managed by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee.
The institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgavi, Karnataka, since 2001. It is approved by AICTE and is recognized by Karnataka Government.
The Global Academy of Technology offers course in Engineering, MBA, M.Tech., M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs.

Application and Admission Procedure
HOW TO APPLY:
A minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in intermediate examinations is required to apply for this particular institute. The institute accepts the scores of Karnataka CET or KCET.
The application procedure is as follows:
ONLINE MODE:
The student needs to fill in an online application form by paying a fee of Rs. 650 (Rs. 500 for SC/ST) through debit/credit card.
OFFLINE MODE:
The candidates can also pay the fees via DD for both the exams.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
If the students clear the required examination he/she will be called up for the documents verification/ counselling sessions in order to confirm the seats. There are no interview rounds for the admission to under graduate courses in the institute.

Campus Facility
The campus of the global academy of technology is situated in Kundana, Bangalore in the state of Karnataka. The college is among 50 best colleges in the state. It provides state of the art infrastructure for all the courses being offered at this institution.
The classrooms are efficiently built with innovative tools providing effective learning and interactive atmosphere. The library is the main attraction of this college as it has built an advanced library with A-Z bookstore and similar digital edition along with a reading area with strict silence zone. Its infrastructural facilities include highly technological laboratories and well-equipped workshops.
Other facilities on campus are a well-developed auditorium, transportation facility, a guest house, food court, a sports ground, theatre, Bank and ATM. The college also has a dispenser with a well-qualified doctor.
