Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Thiruvarur was established in 2009. The University provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the fields of humanities, Management,Social Sciences and Applied Science. It aims at promoting innovation in the teaching and learning process and gives special attention to the improvement of socio-economic conditions of the people and also their academic, intellectual and cultural development. The University has an excellent infrastructure with hostel facilities, sports facilities, medical centre and a cafeteria
