School of Continuing and Distance Learning, Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University also offers Distance courses. Future Education, Hyderabad is a joint venture of Future group and NET HR and has tied up with WE school (Wellingkar Institute of Management) and others to offer distance education courses. Eligibility Criteria

BRAOU (B.R Ambedkar Open University) requires its students to be a graduate from any of the recognized university, and specifies that the admission process occur through the ICET (Common Entrance Test). Similarly Prof G Ram Reddy Center (OUCDE) also specifies that admissions eligibility be on the basis of qualifying marks in the ICET (Common Entrance Test). Future Education, Ltd also requires that its applicants have a graduate degree from any recognized university.

Fee Structure

The fee at BRAOU for the Distance MBA course is only around Rs5, 200 per annum, for a period of 3 years making the course very inexpensive. Similarly fees at OUCDE (Prof G Ram Reddy Center) are around Rs12, 000 per annum for the 3 years of the course. Further, the course fees at Future Education LTD, Hyderabad is around Rs46, 800 for the whole course. The fees are to be usually paid through Demand Draft, and often colleges offer payment through the online mode and through Bank Challans.

Specializations Offered

BRAOU offers distance MBA course specializations in four fields including Human Resource Management, Finance Management, Operations Management, and Marketing. Prof G Ram Reddy Center only offers a general MBA course with no specializations, while Future Education LTD, Hyderabad offers course specializations in all the specializations provided by IGNOU, Wellingkar Institute and Sikkim Manipal University (SMU).

Admission Process

Admission at BRAOU is solely on the basis of the ICET Common Entrance Test, while admission at OUCDE (Prof G Ram Reddy Center) is through ICET, or through an entrance exam held by Osmania University. The students are to download and fill the application form, and send it to the university, along with a DD of Rs300 (Amount of Rs1000, if outside Andhra Pradesh) and the required documents. On admission, the student will receive a Student ID card and the study material.
