Azim Premji University Bangalore

Azim Premji University is a private university in Bangalore. It was established in 2010. The campus covers 90 acres.

The university offers undergraduate programs like BSc in Biology, Mathematics and Physics. It also offers BA in Economics, English, History and Philosophy. Postgraduate courses include MA in Development, Education, Public Policy & Governance, Economics and a 1-year LLM in Law & Development.

Approximately 2300 students are enrolled in master's programs. The teacher-student ratio is about 1-25. 

Facilities on campus include a library, seminar halls, an amphitheater, outdoor fields and an indoor sports complex. Residential accommodation is available for students, staff and guests. Admission to courses requires candidates to take an entrance test organized by university.

Azim Premji University is recognized by the UGC. It has accreditation from Association of Indian Universities and Accreditation Council for Post-Graduate Studies. In the 2023 IIRF ranking, it was placed 6th out of 171 colleges in India.

The university collaborates with different organizations including CBSE and SCERT Sikkim. 

More than 3700 students have secured placements. Around 120 organizations visit campus for recruitment. Average salary offered to students ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 30,000 per month. About 90% of graduates find employment in the social sector.
