Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is located in Manipal, Udupi. It became a Deemed University-Private in 1993.

MAHE offers over 300 programs across more than 30 disciplines. Primary programs are B.Tech and MTech It has different departments and schools dedicated to specific fields.

MAHE has over 28,000 students from 57 countries and around 2,500 faculty members. It secondary campuses in Mangalore, Bangalore and Jamshedpur and global campuses in Dubai and Malaysia.

Facilities at MAHE include a Simulation Lab with computer-driven Manikins, an Innovation Centre, a large health sciences library, an anatomy museum and a business incubation center. It conducts Manipal Entrance Test (MET) for course admissions.
