Government Medical College Manjeri, established in 2013, is located in Manjeri. It is sixth medical college under Government of Kerala. The Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy inaugurated the college. It is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences.

College has a campus with 500 beds and 12 operation theatres. It offers an MBBS program with an annual intake of 110 students. MBBS program is flagship course of college. MBBS program currently has 562 students.

Admissions to the MBBS program are based on the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET). It is approved by Medical Council of India. But it lacks accreditations from NIRF, NAAC, UGC, Bar Council of India or AICTE.

The students get placed in government and private hospitals after graduation.
