SDM Institute for Management Development was formed under the aegis of the Shree Dharamasthala Manjunatheswara educational trust and was established in the year 1993. It is one of the leading B-schools of the country and is located at the foot of Chamundi hills in the Palace city, Mysore. It is one of the foremost institutions which has been promoted and established by the trust in various fields such as medical, dental, engineering, law and management sciences.
It has been accredited by NBA and is one of the leading management schools in terms of programs and courses offered. The campus of the institute has won ARCHIDESIGN award for the best corporate building design in the year 2007.
