Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technologywas founded in 1997 to honor the visions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The AICTE approved institute is accredited to Gujrat University (GTU) and DTE Gujarat.

SVIT is spread across a 26-Acre campus on the banks of river Mahi with separate girls’ and boys’ hostels. The campus includes administrative blocks, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, cafeteria, seminar hall, power sub stations, stationary shops, transport cell and a pump room.

Also, it is the only college in Gujarat with Aeronautical Engineering division. Following are the course offered by the college:

• BTECH: Electronics & Communication, Aeronautical, Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical, Information Technology, Instrumentation and Control, Civil
• MTECH: Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Structural engineering, Electronics & communication.

Admissions in the undergraduate courses are done through either JEE Mains of GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test).

For the good placement, the college provides soft skill sessions or technical sessions or subject related classes.

Application and Admission Procedure

HOW TO APPLY:

The basic eligibility norm for the candidates is to secure a minimum of 50% marks in intermediate in Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Bio technology and maths.

The application process is as follows:

ONLINE MODE:

The candidate needs to fill an application form on the required link along with certain documents.

OFFLINE MODE:

A fee of Rs. 300 has to be paid only via DD after filling the application online. A copy of it has to be submitted at the help centres to obtain the user ID.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

• Passport size photograph
• 10+2 mark sheet
• Transfer and character certificate
• Category certificate if any
• Scanned signatures

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

After filling in the application form the candidate needs to appear for an exam called GUJCET which will be on offline basis held in the month of April. Upon clearing the exam the candidates will go through 2 counselling sessions one of which will be for documents verification. After fulfilling all the formalities the candidate secures his/her seat in the college.

Campus Facility

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology campus is located in the urban area of Vasad, in the state of Gujarat, India. It is a private technical institute which has a state of the art infrastructure and built with modern innovative technique sprawling over the campus of 26 acres.

It has a highly developed academic building including well-established classrooms, conference halls, drawing halls and seminar rooms. Well stocked library and a digital resource centre with an access to popular journals and latest research work. Sanitary Napkin Incinerator is provided for all the girls in the washrooms and a common room.

Other facilities include free Wi-Fi facility for all the students on campus, canteen, Nescafe and transportation facility. An innovative medical health centre with a well-qualified doctor and supporting staff is also provided.
