Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College is located in Vallabh Vidyanagar. It was established in 1948 and was the first approved degree engineering college in Gujarat. The college is government-aided and became autonomous in August 2015.

Programs offered include B.E. M.E. and PhD The college provides 9 B.Tech and 7 M.Tech programs across different engineering disciplines.

The college has more than 16,000 alumni and currently employs 132 faculty members. It is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University and is first Autonomous Institute in state.
