Babaria Institute Of Technology (BITS) Vadodara

Babaria Institute of Technology was established in 2003. It is a trustee college located in Vadodara, Gujarat. The institute was established by Shree Krishna Charitable Trust (SKECT). It is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU).

The admission criteria is the students’ performance in class 10 + 2 qualifying exam (PCM) and the score obtained in GUJCET entrance examination.

The college has 2 in-campus boys hostels and 1 girls hostel. There are laboratories for different departments equipped with modern instruments and the library is extensive with access to scientific journals. The institute has a well maintained playground with provision to play cricket and football.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel Facility:

The college has separate men’s college as well as women’s hostel. The hostel rooms have essential types of furniture like beds, light fan, almirah etc. All the rooms are well equipped with all modern facilities like water, electricity, internet etc.

Both AC and non AC rooms are there. The boy’s hostel has total 144 rooms and the girl’s hostel has 58 rooms. The inmates can stay there as the twin or triple sharing basis. Each room has attached bathroom. The hostels have balconies and common dining halls.

The hostels also have mess service which serves cooked food. Apart from that in the hostel, there are elevators, round the clock power back up and laundry service.

Other services:

The college offers some other facilities like an audio-visual lounge, well-equipped gym, big library, well-organized labs, seminar halls etc. There are a medical centre and a telephone booth.

The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and well equipped with modern facilities such as a projector, whiteboard etc. Within the college campus there is a tuck shop from which the students can get their daily necessity related items.
