The YMCA University of Science and Technology (JC Bose University of Science and Technology) is located in Faridabad. It was established in 1967 and initially named YMCA Institute of Engineering. The university was founded through a partnership involving the National Council of YMCAs of India the Government of Haryana and the German Central Agencies for Development Aid.

Institute is a State Public University. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs across many disciplines, including engineering, sciences, arts, humanities, social sciences, management and IT. B.Tech program is flagship course.

The university has over 2400 students and approximately 115 faculty members. It hosts multiple departments like Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Studies and Civil Engineering, among others.

Admission to B.Tech requires JEE Main scores followed by HSTES counselling. M.Tech admissions consider GATE scores. University has received NAAC accreditation with an 'A+' grade. It is recognized by University Grants Commission and approved by AICTE.
