Remarks

The college was good I made a lot of friends. Basic facilities are provided by the college but I think there is scope for improvement. This course has helped to face the real world and the demands of corporate pressure simultaneously with studies even before I finished my post graduation.

Entrance Exam

For admission into the college you should have at least 50% in your class 12th irrespective of the stream. You should also have a decent score in management entrance exams like cat/mat/cmat/xat. Post this, you will be called for the gd and pi round. Once you clear that, you will be admitted.

Fees

The fee of the college is around 5 lakhs which includes registration charges. Rs 10k also needs to be paid which is refundable once you pass out. The fee is reasonable as most of the college of similar status charge way above this.

Placements

The placememt of the college is handled by then placement cell. The candidate first has to submit the cv to the company and then he is shortlisted for the interview. The average package is round 6 lakhs and some of the top recruiting companies are TCS, One97, Infoedge.

Hostel and Facilities

The university provides hotel to both boys and girls. The room are spacious but there is no one to clear the rooms and hence students themselves have to do it. Since I am a cleanliness freak, I manage it but for some it can be difficult. The fee of the hostel is a bit expensive around Rs 70k per year comparing the facilities provided. The mess food is good.

Alumni

There is a dedicated alumni committee who arranges regular alumni meet. Here students can meet the alumni and discuss their issues/doubts and take their suggestions. Alumni provide us the industry insights and it is also a great to increase your network. Mostly the members in the committee get to interact them which not be so.

Faculty

He faculty here is great. They help us in your assignment and project work. All opf them are well qualified and have enough industry experience as well. They always point of our weak section and tell us to work harder towards those.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. There is always some event going on as the institute is dedicated in providing not just academic excellence but also exposure into their areas of interest. Though the exams are tough and students have to balance the work and fun.

Academics

The college follows the semester system and we have exam accordingly. Marks are also given for class participation, assignment, quizzes and projects so the students need to be active in these as well. The exam time is tough bcoz of very few leaves.

Internships

The college provides full assistance in providing internships. Companies come by to hire students. We are also paid stipends and the amount of stipend depend on the company profile.

Loans and Scholarships

The university has its own scholarship entrance and scholarship is provided to the top rankers o fthe exam. The amount of scholarship is upto Rs 50k. Also, there is some provision for students who are domicile of Haryana.

My College is an amazing place to be in. Till now I have enjoyed every bit of my college life. The College Management works extremely hard to help us.

Entrance Exam

I was able to secure a seat in the College on the basis of the marks I scored in JEE Mains and the 12th Board Exams. Admissions are also taken based on the rank secured in UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University). In order to get into the college one should pass the 12th Board Exams with at least 50% marks apart from qualifying the entrance examination.

Fees

The fee structure is the same throughout different departments. The total fees charged, consisting of the tuition fees, university fees, etc. is around Rs.1.3 lakhs every year. The fee amount is quite feasible, according to me, because the ROI is even bigger. Fees for hostel accommodation are charged separately.

Placements

Civil and Mechanical Engineering students do not get placed easily because not many companies involved in the core of the field come to the college for placement. They often have to settle for placements in the IT sector. Placements for Computer Science students are not a problem because most of the students easily get placed in most of the companies. Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Magna Infotech, etc. are the Associate Recruiters.

Hostel and Facilities

The hostel is surrounded by lush greenery which makes the stay extremely pleasant. There are separate hostels for girls and boys and the fees are also charged accordingly. The hostel has many facilities for indoor games. The food served in the hostel for lunch, breakfast and dinner is different. Non- vegetarian food is not served. The students get a special menu on weekends along with a dessert.

Alumni

The interaction between the seniors and juniors in very cordial. The college has an Alumni Committee which aims at coordinating and organizing alumni meets and also taking feedback regarding the campus facilities from the students that pass out from the college. The students can interact with their seniors will soon be provided through the website.

Faculty

The faculty is extremely efficient. They employ efficient teaching methodologies that make the learning process extremely enriching. The teachers maintain a friendly relationship with the students which motivate the students to ask questions.

Campus Life

The best scenic beauty of the college is fountain present in the campus. There are a number of cultural, sports, social and management clubs in the college that help the students to put forth their talent in front of a larger audience. The college also has a Student Welfare Committee and a Women’s Cell. The campus is spread over 5 acres. The gender ratio is 4:1 which is quite good compared to other colleges. Sexual harassment and ragging of any form is strictly prohibited.

Academics

In each semester, 2 sessional exams and one pre-University test are taken. Along with this, regular class tests are also taken. Sessional exams and PUTs help students to score really well in the final exams. The question papers are set in such a way that it stimulates our intellectual capacity.\The college gives equal importance to theoretical as well as practical knowledge. After the 2nd year, students spend a considerable amount of their time at the research center. The classrooms are well equipped with ICT technologies that aid the teaching process. The courses offered by the college are extremely systematic.

Internships

The College provides Summer Internships but you have to pay for it around Rs .4k.

Loans and Scholarships

The scholarships are provide to the meritorious students. The scholarships are awarded to the student annually from 2nd year onwards after the declaration of results. There are a number of On-Admission scholarships also provided by the university. However, the process of application for the scholarship is a lengthy one. Errors in documentation can lead to disqualification.

Entrance Exam

I wanted to study computer engineering and for admission had given JEE. My rank was around 60k and I chose this college. I did not had to give any interview and was directly admitted into the college based on my ranking. Thye also require atleast 50% in class 12th.

Fees

The fee for the B.tech course is around 1 lakh per year. This is inclusive of all the fee the candidate needs to pay. The students who have secured a high rank in the entrance exam get a relaxation in the fees.

Placements

The placement of the college is pretty good. The average package is around 5 lakhs. This also depends on the candidates skill and the recruiting company. More than three-fourth of the batch gets placed.

Hostel and Facilities

The hostel rooms have the facilities and amenities that make the student’s stay quite comfortable. The rooms have the capacity to accommodate about 2 to 3 students per room. The quality of the food served in the mess has a lot of variety giving the student a chance to choose from non-vegetarian and vegetarian food every day. The total hostel fees, which cover all the costs, come to around Rs.1 lakh.

Alumni

The students have an opportunity to interact with the alumni through interactive communication platforms provided by the University. The alumni have played an important role in providing the practical knowledge and the scope of the field.

Faculty

The college faculty is highly qualified with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the teaching profession. The teachers are very interactive and have a knack of getting the best out of students through their unique teaching qualities. Some of them even had Phd’s on the respective teaching subject.

Campus Life

The campus is the best place for a student who wishes to participate in extra-curricular activities while paying equal attention to academics. Students from all departments can take part in all the extra-curricular activities like the Annual Sports Meet and other events conducted by Artificial Intelligence Club, Robotics Club, Management Club, Entrepreneurial Cell, etc. The gender ratio is unbiased in MBA compared to courses like B.E, M. Tech, and M.C.A where girls are more in strength with respect to boys. The campus is a perfect mix of people from different parts of the country. The events are conducted at a large scale with the help of the authorities without whom the events wouldn’t have been successful. The annual Technical and Cultural Events are also organized by the university every year.

Academics

CGPA system is followed by the university. The MBA Course is divided into 4 semesters in which the first three semesters have 6 papers each. In the last, that is the 4th semester, the student will have to submit a project. Doing an internship is compulsory as it contains some credits. This course has enabled me to gain an in-depth knowledge of computers through the practical based learning sessions that occupy a major portion of the curriculum. Elective subjects like High Programming Languages, Pointer Programming, etc. also help in the learning process.

Internships

The University provides a number of internships. Though it is upon the student and he can pursue internship from any other company of his choice as well. I did an internship from outside. The internship has helped me gain practical knowledge which I wouldn’t have been able to obtain through textbook learning. I also received a stipend a decent stipend.

Loans and Scholarships

The University gives scholarship to the students belonging to the lower income groups. It also gives loans. I am one of the beneficiaries of these schemes given by the college. There is also a special annual Scholarship that awards Rs.75, 000 to 8 students with high academic performance.
