Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU) is a state public university. It was established in 2014 and is located in Jind. University spans 75 acres.

It provides education across many disciplines. These include humanities, computer applications, management, life sciences and physical education. CRSU consists of 13 teaching departments offering 26 courses.

Initially university started with 84 students in two programs- MCA and MBA. University is affiliated with 155 institutes across 7 state districts. It has modern facilities, including digitally enabled classrooms, language and psychology labs, science labs and a central library with over 16,000 books. Campus also houses two auditoriums and a Patanjali Yogshala.

It is recognized by University Grants Commission and is preparing for NAAC accreditation. University ranks 649 in India and 10,580 globally. It is the best university in Jind.
