Pda College Of Engineering Gulbarga

PDA College of Engineering is located in Gulbarga. It is a government-aided institute established in 1958. College was founded by Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society. Campus extends over 70 acres in Kalaburagi.

The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has AICTE approval and has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation since 2009. Institute offers 11 undergraduate 10 master's and 7 research programs in different engineering specialties. Annual student intake is 660 for undergraduate and 150+ for postgraduate programs.

Courses include Automobile Engineering, Electronics Engineering, AI & Machine Learning, Computer Science Engineering, Energy Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Ceramic Engineering and Information Technology. Total student enrollment is around 3500+ with 250+ faculty members.

Facilities include a 900-seater auditorium campus-wide networking and multiple seminar halls. The institute provides many amenities like medical support, gym, sports complex, hostels for boys and girls, library, practical labs and IT centers. College accepts entrance test scores from JEE Main, KCET and NATA for admissions.

In 2020 the college was ranked 6-25 in the Overall category by NIRF Innovation. 

Placement - In 2023 299 students were placed with an average package between INR 4-5 LPA. Major recruiters include Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Cognizant and Hindustan Copper Limited.
