Bhagini Nivedita College, New Delhi was established in the year 1993 by the then Delhi Administration. The college is supported and funded by the Delhi administration.The college is named after Sister Nivedita, a student of Swami Vivekanand who dedicated her whole life to the education and welfare of women. The faculties are well-qualified and experienced. The college aims atempowering women through well-rounded and integrated education and preparing them for excelling in leadership and functional roles at home, in society, within organisations and the country; and enabling them to live up to their full potential.

Bhagini Nivedita College, New Delhi aims to create a learning environment for the students to get a quality education. The college also aims to establish quality goals covering academic performance, sporting excellence and administration, ensure its adoption by the academics and staff and strive for continuous improvement in the quality of education. it also aims to provide the learning experiences of students with participative projects and community engagement activities, which contribute to the development of their social consciousness, teamwork, interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
