Presidency College Bangalore

Presidency College in Bangalore is an autonomous, unaided private institute. It was established in 2000 and is part of Presidency Group of Institutions founded in 1976.

The college offers different undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Its flagship courses include the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The institute has about 14,000 students and a faculty of around 1,200 members.

Presidency College is affiliated with Bangalore University. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It has also received an 'A+' grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college accepts scores from the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) and the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) for admission to its MBA and MCA programs.

Rankings - It ranks 1st in India for its BBA program according to the Global Human Resource Development Centre (GHRDC). College has collaborations with over 65 institutes worldwide for academic and research efforts.

In 2023, the placements saw a maximum salary of Rs.12 LPA and a minimum salary of Rs.3 LPA. The average salary stood at Rs.4 LPA. A total of 170 companies participated in placement drive resulting in 780 students being placed.
