The Government Engineering College, Kushalnagar (GECK) is a public institute located in Kushalnagar. It was established in 2007 by Government of Karnataka. College is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approves the college. The campus is spread over approximately 10 acres.

GECK offers four full-time engineering courses- Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Each course has a seat capacity of 60. The total student count is around 700 with a faculty count of 23 leading to a student-to-staff ratio of approximately 20-1.

The college provides many student facilities, including a library with over 4000 books, sports facilities, IT infrastructure with more than 120 computers, laboratories, an auditorium, medical facilities, a cafeteria, parking, ATM facilities and transport services.

Admissions are through Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
