Guru Tegh Bahadur Polytechnic Institute Delhi

Guru Tegh Bahadur Polytechnic Institute is a private institute established in the year 1994 by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee. It is located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The institute is affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, which comes under the Delhi Government. The AICTE has approved the institute.

The campus is well maintained and provides residential and dining facilities along with the basic ones with library, auditorium, bookshops, healing and various skill building labs such as computer lab, chemistry lab automobile lab etc.

The institute offers only these diploma courses in Engineering:

• Diploma in Computer Engineering
• Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Diploma in Automobile Engineering

For admission to these courses a minimum aggregate percentage of 35% is required in Science, Maths and English in matriculation and intermediate. The next procedure is the clearance of the Common Entrance Test (CET), the scores of which will be considered.

Hostel facilties

The lush green campus of the institute is surrounded by a clean and green envionment. There is easy access to the public transport and it is a ragging free camus which accomodates the hostel facilties for boys and girls. The rooms are spacious and well ventialated along with the bath attached. Healthy and hygeinic food is provided to the students. There are security guards and wardens to ensure safety and security of the students. There are strict rules and regulations in the hostel which are to be followed by the students to avoid hassle.

Other facilities

The classrooms are spacious and the labs are well equipped. The huge library consists of well stacked books, magazines, journals, etc for the students. There are active placement cells, adept faculty members, helpful staff, affordable food in the canteens and cafeteria, well built classes, different blocks for different departements, food courts, sports courts for the extra curricular activities for the students.
