Madras Christian College (MCC) is a liberal arts and sciences college located in Tambaram, Chennai. It was established in 1837. MCC is one of oldest colleges in Asia. The college is an autonomous institute affiliated with the University of Madras. It is a government-aided institute.

The campus covers 320 acres and accommodates around 6,000 students. College has 33 academic departments and has around 300 faculty members. MCC offers more than 40 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels in arts, science and commerce.

The college provides different facilities, including a library, laboratories, a cafeteria, sports complex and residential halls. Admissions are based on merit and accompanying government reservation norms. Some postgraduate programs require an entrance test.

MCC has received an 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC and is recognized by UGC. College was ranked 17th in India by NIRF in 2020. It has collaborations with over 30 foreign universities.
