Teri University (TERI) Delhi

TERI School of Advanced Studies is located in New Delhi. It is also known as TERI University. University was established in 1998. University Grants Commission granted it status of "Deemed to be University" in 1999.

Focus of TERI University is on sustainable development. The university offers undergraduate postgraduate and doctoral programs. This includes courses in Sustainable Development, Environmental Studies and Renewable Energy Technologies. Other areas of study include Climate Change Science, Water Resources Management and Business Sustainability.

Faculty-to-student ratio is 1-12. TERI University has six departments and two centers. The MBA in Sustainability Management is its flagship program.

The university accepts many national-level entrance exam scores for admission. These include CAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT and MAT. It also conducts its own entrance exam.

TERI University is recognized by UGC. It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Distance Education Council and All India Council for Technical Education have approved it.

In national rankings, TERI University holds 225th position in India and 12th position in Delhi. Internationally it ranks 6651st in world. The university collaborates with universities in the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia and Iceland.
