The applications can be made through offline method.
Offline method: Students will have to purchase the admission form from the campus and it must be submitted with a DD amount as fixed by the Director of Technical Education, Chennai, in favour of the Principal. The application fee ranges from Rs 250- Rs 700, depending on category, course and gender.
Note: Students only from Tamil Nadu and children of Central Government employees are liable to apply.
Admission procedure:
The admissions into various courses are merit based and depend on the marks scored in intermediate/graduation/post-graduation and entrance exams.
For B.E. and B.Tech courses candidates must have passed intermediate in science stream and have a decent rank in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) test.
To get into the PG courses a minimum of 50% marks in relevant graduation subject with Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) entrance qualification is needed.
For doctoral programmes rules prescribed by Anna University will be followed.

Remarks
The college provides all the facilities necessary in a good college. The faculty is also very supportive. The attitude of the management towards the student is very positive and thus which helps students to gorw in their field.
Entrance Exam
The college accepts scores of JEE Mains. If the candidate has the decent score he/she will be called for counseling and allotted the branch as per their score. You might also have to appear for a short and easy interview where they ask you basic questions about yourself.
Fees
The fee for my course of the college is pretty reasonable as per me. Though i cannot speak for everybody as everone have different financial backgrounds.. The colleg also offer some scholarships to deserving students and i think this way it helping out studenst who want to study but cannot due to financial constraints.
Placements
For braches like Computer science/IT the university has a 90% above placement rate. For other branches the placement rate is more than 70%. There is a placement cell which is providing updated facilities day by day.
Hostel and Facilities
The food of the hostel is the best. Separate rooms are provided to each student. The rooms are spacious and provide all the necessary facilities. The hostels also have a great internet service.
Alumni
Alumni meets are organized for increasing the interaction between the students and seniors. The seniors are always ready for helping juniors with academic as well as other life-related stuff. They are helpful in clearing doubts.
Faculty
All of the faculties are well qualified and there are number of faculties in on department for one course. This gives a lot of option to students. The professors are not just focused on the academic growth but more as an indicual as a whole.
Campus Life
The student gender ratio is almost the same which is a good part. The university has top wordclass labs and classromss. It encourages studenst o take part in sport competetions and even has its own stadium. There is no case of harassment of juniors as the university has very strict ragging policies and anybody found doing that will have to bear the consequences.
Academics
The exam structure was me was not that difficult. Though labs can sometimes be tiering but yes rest it can all be manageable . Exam results are released on time most of the times.
Internships
The university provides internship opportunities to students in top companies. The internship process and procedure in commendable and it gives great exposure to students before they graduate and step into the corporate world.
Loans and Scholarships
Students can get educational loan from private banks on their own the college or university does not have a role in thisdies not . Scholarships are provided to reserved category students. Almost half of their fee is waived off.
