Gsss Institute Of Engineering And Technology For Women (GSSSIETW) Mysore

GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women is located in Mysore. It was established in 2003. It is a private institute managed by Geetha Shishu Shikshana Sangha. It is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved it.

The institute offers six Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) programs. These programs are in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. It also offers M.Tech programs in Digital Communication and Networking Computer Science Engineering and an MBA program.

Approximately 1624 students and 126 faculty members are part of institute. Facilities include a library, sports complex, practical labs, IT centers and an auditorium.

Admissions require candidates to take state-level entrance exams. Candidates must appear for KCET or COMED-K for B.E admissions. For M.Tech GATE or PGCET scores are necessary.

Institute has received Grade 'A' accreditation from National Accreditation Assessment Committee (NAAC). It is also accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) with validity until 2026. The institute achieved a Silver rating in QSI gauge and has earned 25 University Ranks.

Institute collaborates with two foreign universities- University of Sannio, Italy and Multimedia University, Malaysia. In 2023 placement drive yielded 710 offers. The highest package was INR 20 LPA from Samsung R&D.
