College Of Engineering Thalassery Kannur

The College of Engineering, Thalassery is a government institute located in Thalassery. The Government of Kerala established the college in 2000. Campus spans 25 acres.

College is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and Cochin University of Science and Technology. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering. Undergraduate courses include Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. The postgraduate programs include M.Tech degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Faculty consists of approximately ~100 members. The college is part of the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education which includes six engineering colleges founded by the Government of Kerala.

Facilities at the college include a computer center, library, canteen and transportation services. There are separate hostel facilities available for female students. Admission to the college occurs online. Candidates must take the KEAM entrance test for undergraduate courses and the GATE for postgraduate courses.

Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education. The mechanical and electrical engineering programs received accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation in 2018. College also has ISO certification.

Placements - Highest package offered in previous year was 25 LPA while average package ranged from 6 LPA to 10 LPA.
