Ashoka University Sonepat

Ashoka University is located in Sonipat. It is a private non-profit institute established in 2014. University Grants Commission (UGC) recognizes it as a state private university.

Ashoka University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. Its flagship course is Young India Fellowship. University also runs Young Scholars Program and Lodha Genius Program.

Ashoka University has over 2,600 students from 28 states and 5 Union Territories in India, besides students from 25 other countries. The faculty consists of 200 members.

The campus is fully residential and spans 25 acres in the Rajiv Gandhi Education City. It features modern amenities like WiFi-enabled classrooms and a well-stocked library.

For admission to undergraduate courses Ashoka University considers merit in Ashoka Aptitude Test. It also accepts SAT, ACT, CUET and GATE scores.

University is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognized by UGC. In the NIRF 2022 ranking it secured the 88th position in the university category.

Ashoka University has established partnerships with different international universities for faculty exchanges and student mobility. It offers a record of 351 students placed and 383 placement offers. Highest salary package was INR 35 LPA and average package was INR 10.5 LPA.
