Campus covers 265 acres and provides a learning environment. A notable structure on the campus is the meditation area named 'Tapovan.' Institute includes a Students Auditorium for extracurricular activities. Institute has Asia's largest mess facility with a capacity for 1,800 students.

Mody Institute offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Degrees awarded include Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, Master of Technology, Master of Arts, Master of Commerce and Master of Science. Admission is based on MU-SAT (Mody University Scholarship cum Admission Test) and other national and state-level tests. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) is accepted for the B.Tech program.

The institute has accreditation by the UGC. Approval comes from BCI and NBA. In 2019 it was ranked 66 out of 435 best engineering colleges by IIRF.

The institute has some international collaborations like one with France for Nuclear Science and Technology aimed specifically at women.
