NIMS University, located in Jaipur, is a state private university established in 2008. Campus covers an area of 250 acres.

University offers over 100 courses in different disciplines. These include Medicine, Dental, Nursing, Engineering, Management Studies, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Law, Architecture and Humanities, among others.

NIMS University enrolls more than 20,000 students and employs over 5,500 faculty members. It provides many facilities like residential accommodations, medical support, a cafeteria, an auditorium and sports facilities. Additional amenities include a shopping mall, grocery store and ATM on campus.

For admissions the university conducts its own entrance exam called NIMSEE for UG and PG courses. It also considers scores from national-level entrance exams like NEET and JEE Main. NIMS University is accredited by NAAC and approved by different organizations including UGC and MCI.

In rankings, the university was listed as the 5th emerging college in India by India Today in their 2016 Nielsen Survey. It received best university award from CEGR in 2022. University has collaborations with over 150 universities worldwide.
