Jaipur National University (JNU) is a State Private University established in 2002.

The university provides over 35 undergraduate programs across fourteen specialist schools. It also offers postgraduate programs in different specializations. The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program is its flagship course.

JNU has around 125,000 students and about 3,000 faculty members. The campus has Wi-Fi availability, over 1,500 PCs and 158 laboratories. It features auditoriums and libraries across its four campuses. Sports facilities include equipment for basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton, football and tennis.

For admissions, JNU accepts scores from JEE, CAT, MAT, XAT and CMAT for B.Tech and MBA programs. It conducts an entrance exam called Jaipur Entrance cum Scholarship Test (JEST) for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

JNU is accredited with a NAAC A+ grade. Its educational programs are approved by many regulatory bodies like UGC, AICTE, NCTE, BCI, INC, PCI and MCI.

In terms of rankings, JNU was ranked 197 out of 281 colleges in India by India Today in 2023. It was also placed 92nd in Computer Applications.

Placements - JNU has an active placement cell. In 2022 700 students secured placements. Highest salary package offered was Rs 27 Lakhs per annum while lowest was Rs 5 Lakhs per annum.
