About College:
Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University was established in the year 1989 in the city of Chennai, TamilNadu. The growth of the university started in the year 1903 when the institute was initially given the status of a college and functioned in Dobbin Hall, Chennai. On the recommendation of the Royal Commission on agriculture, the college was upgraded to offer a degree in Veterinary Sciences. The university is an autonomous institution which is governed by its Board of Management which the policies. The university aims at providing quality higher education in the field of veterinary and animal sciences.
