LBS College of Engineering is located in Kasaragod was established in 1993. The campus covers an area of 52 acres. The college is an autnomous government institute.

Currently, college offers undergraduate programs in six branches- ECE, CSE, ME, EEE, IT and CE. It also provides one postgraduate program in CSE. The annual intake for undergraduate programs is 480. For postgraduate program intake is 18. Initially affiliated with Calicut University college shifted to Kannur University in 1996. Since 2015 it has been affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

It offers many facilities including a gym, a fully automated library, digital library, accommodations for boys and girls, a cafeteria, modern labs, banking facilities, transportation and IT infrastructure.

College accepts KEAM exam for B. Tech courses and GATE for M.Tech courses. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Placements - Over 100 students have been placed in companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro.
