Rajagiri School Of Engineering & Technology (RSET) Ernakulam

RSET is a private institute found in 2001 in Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala. It is a part of Rajagiri Vidyapeetham and is managed by Sacred Heart Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI).

Since 2015, it is affiliated to the A.P. J. Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum. Earlier it was affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Application and Admission Procedure

HOW TO APPLY?

Admission at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology is purely based on merit through Government and college merit.

Candidates seeking admission at this college are eligible for the same if they qualify that 12 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% with mandatory is subject Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and also qualify KEAM.

The candidates must apply online for admission.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

The application for admission to the college has to be submitted online, details regarding the application form will be updated on the official website of the college.

The students have to fill the online form with the required details and submit it with the documents required.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission is purely on merit basis. It is done through counselling which is based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the Kerala Engineering agricultural medical Test (KEAM).

If the seats are still remaining they will be filled by the Institute based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the 12th class or equivalent examination.

Campus Facilities

The institution campus provides considerably ample facilities for sports and recreation. The availability of basketball courts (with floodlight facilities), volleyball, badminton, throwball and tennis courts, cricket grounds and indoor sports facilities, coupled with a well-equipped fitness centre, caters to the athletic demands of students.

Besides a well academically-furnished library, the campus area also houses conference and gallery halls, a state-of-the-art video conferencing room, an auditorium and a board room for various purposes. A departmental store (“Honesty Shoppe”) and a student facility centre with a food court cater to the daily stationery needs.

A medical centre with a full-time nurse and a doctor attending chambers on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays are available.

Hostel

Accommodation facility in the form of hostels is provided to both male and female students within the campus, with each hostel having a Resident Tutor to look into the students’ welfare. Transport facilities are also made available for commuting to nearby towns/areas.

Several academic awards are entitled on the basis of performance by meritorious students from each department of study offered by the institution.

Student Life

There is an active student council comprising both boy and girl students working in charge of the various fests and functions that are organised under the institution curriculum. An array of student clubs is present that allow them to pursue a wide range of inclinations.

‘Bharatham’, the annual intra-college cultural fest; ‘Ranabhoomi’, the annual sports meet; ‘Abhiyanthriki’, the national-level technical fest and ‘Techkshetra’, a technical fest held every alternate year are the crowd-pulling student festivals held by RSET.
