Muslim Association College Of Engineering (MACE) Thiruvananthapuram

It is a Muslim minority private college established in 2002. It is affiliated to University of Kerala and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram and The institute is run by the Muslim Association, Thiruvananthapuram.

Located in Venjaramoodu, Trivandrum, Kerala, the campus is spread over an area of 25 acres. It provides various facilities like hostel, labs, library, cultural centre, counselling centre, language lab, auditorium, transport service, and cafeteria.

For admission into under graduate B.Tech courses students need to appear for the State Entrance Examination conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination and for post graduate courses the admission is done on the basis of GATE score/ AMIE score/ AMIETE score.

Application and Admission Procedure

Muslim Association College of Engineering also popularly known as MACE is a private engineering college based in Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala. It was established in 2002 and has been approved by the AICTE. It is affiliated to Kerala University.

B.Tech (4 Years)

• Civil Engineering

Admissions: Admission into the Merit Quota is based on the ranks obtained in the State Entrance Examinations conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. 50% of the total seats are filled by the CEE .Rest 50% is filled by Management and NRI Quota

Eligibility: Higher secondary examination or equivalent, with minimum marks as prescribed by the KTU/Government of Kerala/AICTE. The candidate must also have appeared in the entrance examination conducted by the state government or consortium of self-financing engineering colleges (as applicable at the time of admission) and have secured a position duly endorsed by a competent authority.

Admissions: 50% of the seats for each stream are merit seats. These seats will be filled from, among the candidates who have applied in this institution, on the basis of their rank in the rank list published by DTE on the basis of GATE Score. Rest 50% is filled up by the Management and NRI Quota.

Eligibility: Candidates should have undergone the B.Tech/B.E course in an institution approved by AICTE and recognized by Kerala Technological University (KTU).

Hostel and Facilities

The students of Muslim Association College of Engineering are provided with good quality hostels. There are two hostels, one for the girls and one for the boys, separately.

There are approximately 150 seats in the boys hostel, While the girls hostel can accommodate about 100 students.

The Muslim Association College of Engineering promotes leadership skills in its students; it also values different co curricular activities, and promotes it in the campus.

The hostel rooms are very spacious and are well furnished. The campus is surrounded by green bushes, trees and flowers which make the campus environment friendly.

The Muslim Association College of Engineering’s hostel provides 24*7 guard facility, to ensure the safety and security of the students living in the campus.

The institute also organises annual function and sports meet every year to keep the students entertained and active in different fields apart from studies.
