Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology is an institution affiliated under the Kerala Technological University and is located in Thiruvananthapuram.

How to Apply

The application process is conducted offline. Candidates can download the application form from the official college website (or obtain it from the Admissions Office), take a printout, fill in all the details and submit/mail to the college campus, along with all the relevant documents and a Demand draft of Rs.300/- drawn in favour of ‘Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology’ payable at Nedumangad/Thiruvananthapuram.

Documents required are:

• 10+2 mark sheets and pass certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate (from a doctor in Government Service).
• 3 passport size photographs.
• Eligibility Certificate (those who have acquired the academic eligibility from outside Kerala other than CBSE / ISC should necessarily produce this certificate obtained from the University of Kerala).

Admission Procedure

Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is granted on the basis of merit (10+2 marks with min. 50% PCM, and/or Bachelor’s degree), as well as scoring/rank in the KEAM (UG) and GATE (PG) entrance exams.

Prof. V .Jagannatha Panicker Knowledge Centre has a book collection of 34000 volumes and 10325 titles along with magazines, technical journals, newspapers, CD/DVD’s. In addition provision for access to over 1500 e-journals through online databases has also been facilitated.

The campus has over 800+ computers. A common computer lab for all the students is arranged in the administrative building. This has 60 Computers with necessary software’s and 32 Mbps leased line Internet connectivity.

Sports facilities are provided to the students under the Professor of Physical education. Outdoor facilities are provided for Volleyball, Basketball, football, cricket, shuttle Badminton and athletics along with indoor facilities for Table Tennis, Chess and Carom.
