Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology is a private technical institute. It is located in Muvattupuzha. College was established in 2001 by Diocesan Technical Educational Trust.

The college offers undergraduate programmes in eight engineering disciplines and one programme in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. It provides three postgraduate programmes in engineering and an MBA course. College is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Currently about 1800 students are enrolled in different courses. The college features a central library established in 2001 which occupies 16,400 sq. ft. The library contains a large collection of books, journals and technical resources. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls accommodating 250 boys and 230 girls. Each room includes basic furniture and resident tutors oversee the hostels.

College accepts Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical entrance exam for admissions. It ranks 13th among Engineering Colleges under KTU and 3rd among self-financing Engineering Colleges. Over 50 companies recruit annually through college's placement cell which organizes interviews and enhances student employability.
