Sri Vellappally Natesan College Of Engineering (SVNCE) Alappuzha

Sri Vellappally Natesan College was established in the year 2009 and . The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvanathapuram.

It is a self-financing institution and is a private type institution. It is approved by AICTE and Government of Kerala.

The college provides B.Tech and M.tech courses. The college has the following departments-

How to apply:

For admission into

Sri Vella Pally Natesan College of Engineering candidates have to fill the application form ONLINE only. The application form and prospectus can be downloaded from the website of the college.

The fees for application can be paid through three types of modes:

Offline-Demand draft

Online – Net banking/ debit card /credit card.

The students are instructed to keep the documents ready at the time of application form fill up. All the documents should be uploaded in the prescribed format.

Admission Procedure:

The institute conducts an entrance test for few courses. Admission to few courses in the institute is also done on the basis of merit.

For Entrance examination- After successfully submitting the application form the authorities issues a hall ticket for the candidates. The candidates who are successful in the entrance examination are required to attend in person at the time of counselling on the mentioned date and time.

Merit based admission procedure- For a few courses; admission is strictly done on the basis of marks in the last exam qualified. The candidates are strictly instructed to carry all the documents at the time of counselling.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The college provides its students with a very comfortable hostel. There are facilities like TV in the common area, reading rooms, indoor and outdoor game activities, kitchen- with all the modern facilities, power generator, spacious well-furnished rooms, drinking water, laundry services etc.

Students interested to apply for hostels need to do so at the time of application of admission and the allotment is done as per the rules and availability.

The institute has full time managers in boy’s hostels and matrons in girl’s hostel to look into the daily affairs and discipline.

Cafeteria

The campus cafeteria provides north Indian, south Indian and Chinese cuisines and adheres to the highest quality of hygiene and quality. It remains open on all working days.

The college provides a well-equipped gymnasium with all the latest exercise equipment’s such as step machines, treadmills, elliptical, stretching areas etc. to the students. Fitness is given further importance in form of offering various sports facilities like cricket, badminton, volley ball, football etc. the college also has a team for cycling.

A well stacked book store with all the necessary college books, stationary items and photocopying facility are available at the book store in the campus.

The college has implemented at novel programme ‘Earn while you learn’ to allow students with innovative ideas develop a prototype and participate in the college sponsored projects providing students with real time in the job experience making them readily acceptable to the industries.
